How can in game save be turned off?

Does anyone know of a way to prevent the save function in game from working in a mission?

I think I remeber some missions in the game where this was so.

Certainly you can only save once normaly so there must be a variable that is set by the save function so what is it? Could not find it in the command reference.

I realise it may be that it detects previous saves but then why does making a trigger that detects radio alpha and then put it on repeatedly.... in the on activation field and puting

'savegame'... work

Presumably there is something that can be put in description.ext or init sqs but where and what command?

Your thoughts people.

And please no more discusion about whether it is nice to do it.

well, the save function within the original game missions, is activated by a trigger or a wp that uses the "savegame" command. This means that you must download the original unencrypted missions and manualy find and delete the command confused.gif

that's all I can think of...
