Randomly Exploding Vehicles?

For some reason in Arma 2 my vehicles will sometimes randomly explode. And before you ask it's not because of enemy fire. Anytime I purchase a vehicle and park it in one of my bases and leave it unattended it just blows up. It's pretty aggravating when you buy repair, refuel, and rearm trucks for your team only to watch them explode one after the other. This applys for all vehicles except for boats. I'm also having problems with random people in campaign stealing my purchased vehicles. So any time I buy something it either blows up eventually or is stolen. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there any way to stop it? Thanks.

Is it a warfare mission?

I first started seeing it on the campaign missions where you are the commander. Dogs of War and the last one. It is warfare, but this happens when there are no enemies around.

Im pretty sure that empty vehicles are meant to explode after awhile if left empty to help clean up the map. You can stop this happening to repair trucks and stuff by putting an ai in the passenger seat. Atleast thats how it works when you play warfare in multiplayer not to sure about the single player version.

Shouldn't happen in single player, at least not in Arma, in another game I've played recently that I won't mention the name of in this thread, but not Arma.

No I don't have any mods at all.
