Copying arma 2 controls

is there a config file that holds all the control configurations in arma 2.

I just installed windows on another computer and would be nice if i did not have to renter all the controls i had.

Check your Documents folder (Windows 7: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents) for a folder called ArmA2 (additionaly you may have another one called ArmA 2 Other Profiles, if you had more profiles ingame). Copy that over to your Documents on the other computer and you should have all your settings (Including savegames and editor saved missions) back :)

The config files alone are called ArmA2.cfg and USERNAME.ArmA2Profile

umm see i copied all that stuff, and it still has the defualt controls, even tho it did copy my saves and such.

i even tried renaming my old one to my new user name and pasting it into the folder and still did not do anything.

any ideas?

umm.. The only thing that gets onto my mind right now is that you could probably forgot to select your profile ingame?

Key mapping is kept in My Documents\ArmA 2\name.ArmA2Profile

that is really wired, i will play with it some more and see if i can figure it out. I copy over the file but everything is fine except the controls. I no my profile is loaded because i have the save games and such. i only had one profile in my old arma 2 so.
