Completely hosed in Windows 7 64bit

Recommended Posts

Hey guys...

My setup:

Q9550 Quad Core Processor

Nvidia 8800GT video

8GB RAM

I have been playing Arma II in Vista 64bit with no problems at all. I upgraded to Windows 7 64bit last night, and the game graphics are just plain broken. Very slow, and worst of all it's like there is no texturing at all in the game. All the vegetation is like flat cutouts, the people, vehicles and objects have no textures on them at all, and the game runs about 5-10fps.

I am using the latest Nvidia driver for Windows 7 64bit (191.07). I tried backing up to 190.62, but had the same results. None of my other games have any problems at all with my setup in Win7 64.

Any ideas???

I assume you reinstalled the game and you may have lost your old settings so it may not be a 1:1 comparison? Make sure your vram setting in game is 'default' and see if that helps.
