Defbond 0 Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) Recently my game froze and it froze windows also, had to reboot the whole computer. After the boot I started Arma2 (I have the steam version) and an error saying No Entry 'C:\users\****\Documents\Arma 2\Arma2.cfg.3D_Performance'. After clicking ok, I loaded a game and noticed that my graphic settings and character voice had changed back to the default as well as any keys mapped to my joystick, but my profile was still there. I have vanilla arma 1.04 and vista 64. Is there a section in the Arma2.cfg that has been deleted and needs to be added? this is all it says in my file: Resolution_W=1440; Resolution_H=900; Resolution_Bpp=32; refresh=60; Render_W=1440; Render_H=900; FSAA=2; postFX=0; HDRPrecision=8; lastDeviceId=""; localVRAM=922091520; nonlocalVRAM=1878257664; Edited September 23, 2009 by Defbond
Bulldogs 10 Posted September 23, 2009 Yes, you're missing the 3dperformance line, but instead of entering it manually your best option is to delete the arma2.cfg file and then start Arma 2 and setup all your settings again.

I did this and the error went away and I none of my settings/key assignments disappeared either, thanks!
