Random Respawn AI

Ok, i have tried searching for this and could not find exactly what i was looking for. I am making a survival mission where you and 7 others are waiting for a chopper to come pick you up and you have to defend off waves of enemy troops. However i would like to make it so that the enemy randomly respawns near your camp, and then moves toward it. I know there is a way of doing it but i cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be great, thanks.
