Armed Assault didn't start in Windows 7 64 bit Professional

Hi there,

in Windows 7 RC (64) it was no Problem playing Armed Assault, but in the released Windows 7 Professional (x64) i'm not able to start arma using openal.

I tried it using patch 1.14 and 1.16 beta and nothing is happening. There is only one task arma*32 and after some time this task is shut down. But if i use the -dsound option everything is fine (except the bad sound).

No i looked around for troubles in some other games using the openal engine, but everything i tested is workin (STALKER and UT3).

But in this game ther is the openal32.dll in the main folder. So i tried to copy this dll to the main arma folder but arma is still not running.

My system specs: C2D E6800, 8800GT and an Audigy SE soundcard.

Every driver is updated to the newest stage:

Chipset, graphics and sound.

Because i read about some problems for creative soundcards in windows 7 i tried installing the old driver i used in the windows 7 rc but the game is also not running with openal.
