Soldiers repairing mh-60s.

Recommended Posts

I have a mission where 8 groups of soldiers board 8 mh-60s then fly to a location drop them off and then the mh-60s are to fly back to where they came from, however, many of the mh-60s are being stopped by the soldiers (when they are done being unloaded) saying that the mh-60s need to be healed, so the mh-60s land, all of the pilots get out then do nothing. I do not wish for them to be stopped at all and should just continue to their objective. I do not have any damage set on the mh-60s nor do they pickup damage on the flight over. Is there anyway I can stop the soldiers from trying to heal the mh-60s? I would be willing to download any kind of mod to get rid of this as well, if it's a script you need to teach me how to install it.

Usually it's a Team Leader telling the injured soldier to "Heal at MH60". They aren't repairing the chopper, just healing themselves at it.

Are your soldiers getting damaged somehow?

I don't believe so, they are falling about 3-4 feet from the chopper, but that's about it.

That can still hurt them. :) I've seen entire squads die trying to get out of a hovering at safe altitude choppers.

Is there any mod/script that can fix this, the helicopters won't land but hover.

To make it land either give it the helo land "LAND" command, or place a helipad (even invisible) for it to land on.

How would I place a helipad? (I have never used the map editor, and do not know where it is.)

Also, if the "helo land" command is better, how would I go about doing that?

It's under EMPTY -> Objects -> H (Invisible)

You place it like a unit or something

Thanks, I have placed helipads under all transport unload points and the helicopters now follow their correct waypoints.
