Being the team leader

Okay, one of the first things I learned was not to command a squad on a map you have never played before. BUt here are some problems I've been having when I do get to command a squad. Here's basically what the missions turn out to be.

While we are still in the breifing, or we are being transported to the LZ I'll give my little speach:

"EVERYONE LISTEN UP! Remember, follow orders. Only leaders drive/fly unless we order you to. Be careful and watch the FF. Stick together. Always go in, hit hard, and get out. Watch your asses out there guys, you only get 1 life" (1 life because i generally play co-op)

Then after the mission starts and arrives i give simple orders:

Return to formation

Danger

Engage at will

After the battle starts, this is where it gets bad for me. I'm normally pointman, im up there doing the dirty work, I havent got time to give orders a lot. All the buttons when someone says there injured and i have to tell them to go to a medic. But if i just type directly to them, I can't shoot/move.

After the battle ends, We all regroup, heal, and resupply. Then I drive/fly to the next objective and everything happens all over again.

I could really use some pointers guys, I'm naturally a leader and am pretty good at it. But can I get some pointers to make me better?

Umm i never listen to somebody ordering me about the map. I hear dont take that chopper or tank i run for em and peal out. Sorry but i imagine alot of people feel the same. like how many games did you sit back and let some other guy take the tank or helo that could have been yours.BBBIIIZZZZTTTT!!!

I know how to play this game so it may be viewed diffrent as that,but i dont order people to do anything, i see a call for help i say fall back so i can meet you half way. Not because im not interested in helping but some dumb azz`z dont know that they can repair these things and heal up aswell. So they use it for the moment not thinking of retreat today live to fight tomorrow. Retreat if your in trouble/being over run.

Move in groups and atack as a group,always ends up with the best outcome. Me i consistently get in the top 5 on the score board,i drive my tanks alone pilot helo`s alone and always clean up,why because i retreat when need be and help other when i can. Like i see somebody looking like one two more hits tank is done, i then do my best to get my tank in between the hits if im in good condition. Depends did some tard break all the needed stuff like repair trucks.

I dunno i just dont like to be told that thats my helo you stay out. Well all i can say is if anyone shoots me for any piece of equipment i get even but i don`t wreck stuff like what ever they may have killed me for, or stuff in the respawn area.

Im a Fraghaus regular i play this game every day with a great group of people,on the most azz kickin server ever. We are real tight and know one anothers moves so playing one another is real fun/hard as heck but real fun. When we all play on the same team,its always a total slaughter,and the server hosts 32 player games lightning fast its awsome. Puts a whole new name to team play.

But all and all you want to lead go ahead hope they listen, i would do my own thing anyhow like 90% of most people i have met in this game. But i do know people do like to win and do work as groups to ensure the best outcome.

Like the only real reason i posted here is because i would be insulted by some person saying stay away from that helo you dont know what your doing. Knowing a map helps but i figure stuff out fast,i read the briefings do a map check at the briefing no biggie.

I play on oo7vet server. It's a co-op server and leadership is need as much as a leaders orders need to be followed. On this server, we really dont give a damn who pilots attack helos, or tanks for that matter. But what we order when we say dont drive/fly unless you are leader, really means dont drive things to transport ppl unless you are good. If you are individually ina tank/attack helo, go for it. But if you are transporting frenlies across the map, you damn well better not fuck up. (pardon my french) We are just trying to keep our team in safe hands.

I don't boss people around, and i dont like to do it either. I only give moderate orders for when we are doing objectives. sorry if i come off that way(of being an asshole boss), but i could still really use pointers on commanding.
