goguapsy 10 Posted August 25, 2009 OK, ive played lots of multiplayer games, including COD4, AA2 and AA3 and BF2/PR. BUT, when i entered the server, i looked at the screen, picked up a random role and started. I was on a ship. Now what? I don't know how to type a message (i looked everywhere on options and on the manual and couldnt find a "text" button "say" button or wtv. Whats the key to VOIP? Can someone please make a guide (from the very NOOB to intermediate - I want to play as infantrymen. The rest should be like PR, except the physics of course). well to sum up in a few words, can someone please make a guide as if it was the first time I played ARMA 2 and don't know any of the buttons (multiplayer buttons---i know the SP buttons). What are the game types? How do I find an enemy? How do I find my "leader"? where do I go? What do I do to type/say something to someone? It sounds like you started on a Longest Day type game; which is a coop form where you have to achieve several dynamically created missions as part of an invasion force. It is very complex and not ideal for beginners.
