Red Carpet/Coop

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm actually working on an "escort and rescue" mission for 5 or less players.

I wanna know how to rescue someone with an empty chopper (the chopper land to the LZ and the victim get in)...

I won't tell you the action, or it won't be a surprise anymore :D

Thanks!

maybe you can just add the victim to your group once you rescued him and then just order him in the chopper

so if i understand it correct you command a squad who needs to save a victim(who is ai), and there is an empty chopper standing somewhere, and with that chopper you need to get out of the area together with the hostage.

well if i have this correct i would say you can just give a command to the hostage to mount the chopper and you wont need to do it in the editor.

If I lead the hostage, and if I tell him "Go into this f*cking MH-6!", he won't do it, because the chopper don't land...

I think I have the solution...

I put some Spec Ops guys in the chopper, and when I want the hostage to get in, I call out the guys, the chopper will land and the hostage will get in.

have you tried putting a "load" waypoint for the chopper and a "get in" waypoint for the group and then synchronising the two waypoints.

normally the chopper should then hover over the extraction zone and when you arrive there it should land.
