Unable to rotate machine gun nests

or any object/unit for that matter..

I checked the wiki and it says to hold shift and left click the unit and hold the mouse button.. i do this and no luck, cannot rotate anything.. Am i doing something wrong? or are the controls different than on the wiki"?

any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

also the control menu does not appear to the right of my screen.. this is very odd as when I look at the tutorial and watch others map edit on youtube they have a control menu... hope that helps.

resolved the issue .. was in mission editor and not map editor..
