Badlands 1.03

I was with the CDF to start with.

Took the 4 bases, helping that vyshnoye village in the meantime.

Never got asked to assasinate the priest (did get asked under 1.02)

So ive completed all the tasks:

*Protect Vyshnoye

*conqueor this region

*conqueor pogorevka

*find evidence

now im running around like an idiot with nothing to do... what the story?

Are you sure that one of the bases didn't get recaptured? Check your map. This is one bug that I haven't been able to reproduce yet.

You should not take the last base. After 3rd you have to wait a sec and you should get the message. However I have slightly different problem. Prizrak is immortal. I cant kill him. I put 30AK rounds in his head, BRDM heavy MG, hell even handgrenade dont work. What is going on here?

I guess the question is: Is the prizrak encounter mandatory to end the mission ?

I did get the radio message talking about Prizrak (After StarySobr taken), discussed killing him, but wasnt told to go anywhere to meet the person who will tell me where Prizrak is.

Ho him, i've done endmission anyway, having walked around the map (well, the 4 bases) for a couple of hours trying to trigger something.

The priest has (mistakenly) become invulnerable in 1.03, per one of the developers in another thread. Probably they were trying to ensure he stayed alive until the time u need to kill him - but forgot to make him vulnerable again ???

What a tough luck!

I'm playing the campaign through for the second time. One of the main reasons for a new start was to play the choices differently.

First time I let Prizrak live. Now I would have wanted to try the outcome of killing him.

I guess I'll have to wait for another patch and play it through for the third time...

With patch 1.03, can Prizrak be killed?

I would like to find a work-around for this issue.

Some ideas:

Is it possible to kill Prizrak prior to receiving the objective: "Assassinate Prizrak"?

Maybe Prizrak's invulnerability is linked to a timer used by the mission?

(After a certain time passes, he is vulnerable again?)

My game version is 1.3.0.58627 (patch 1.03)

I have the same problem Prizark is immortal. We need a fast bug fix, please Bohemia, i don't want to stop the campaign for another month more!

Having same problem done all mission couldnt kill prizrak either been driving around for the last 2 days getting very bored with this, it just wont end.

i have restarted badlands 3 times now try different way but nothing is working to end it.

its living up to it name badlands. they need a fix quick.

Well I discovered when Prizak is no longer immortal in ver 1.03. However, I don't think they intended for you to play it this way, and it may not give the expected results, I have yet to try it....

If you were aligned with NAPA and do NOT kill Prizak, you play a version of Dogs of War in which Prizak shows up at the beginning. I found I could kill him. However, if you do kill Prizak in Badlands you play a different version of Dogs of War. So killing Prizak after you have loaded the NAPA alive Prizak version may produce unexpected results. My guess is, the game will play out the same and you get the ending saying the the whereabouts of Prizak is unknown, even though you know that you killed him.
