XP install problems

When I try to install with Windows XP I get the following message:

"File copy error (CRC does not match)"

"c:\programfiles\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\DTA\HWTL\Data3d.pbo"

On an earlier post someone solved a similar problem by changing the primary and secondary IDE controlers to DMA if possible.  My system is already set to that mode.

My system is:

Athlon XP1600

384MB DDR

GeForce2 32MB

Any suggestions???
