Can game be made non full screen with hi detail

Just curious if ARMA II can be configured to play with comparitively high detail and resolution but not full screen to reduce load on GC.

I have 22 in 1680 x 1050 monitor and AMD 6000+ dual core CPU and 9800 GT 512k graphics but it over heats and heat protection minimizes the game. I have to maximimize it again when GC cools down.

Just curious if playing non full screen would help and is possible.

Start the game using command line argument -window

Right click the shortcut to ArmA 2, and click Properties.

In the destination field, type -window after the path.

The field should then look something like this.

"C:\Games\ARMA2\arma2.exe" -window
