Starforce 21: where are you?

First Lopotev got away now the downed pilotes are going to die. Why? Because Starforce 21 wont come pick me up!!!

I call they respond we are on the way...and never show up!

Anyone else have this issue?

I have tried the helo two times. The first was leaving the base to take me on an op, which ended with the helo crashing into some trees while trying to land on a road. I told it to land in a nearby field, but I guess that wasn't dangerous enough or something.

On a restart I asked for pick up in a field somewhere and they said they were coming, but never arrived. On getting back near Manhattan base I found the helo circling the town at the base of the hill for no reason.

Definite bug.

How can I actually tell Start Force where to go or to pick me up ??

Use the map when radioing in the commands. Both for pick up and drop off.

The chopper will travel to the destination marked by your mouse.

EDIT: Also, use sites where there is plenty of space for the heli to move around. You can always renew the pick up / drop off site by calling the radio commands again, even in flight.

it was the radio menu I was looking for. Now I found it. It's under Team/Communication.

Can you give one more level of detail on this? What order works (open map first, etc)? How do you mark the map with your mouse? I'm asking because I've tried many different ways of making this happen with no luck.

Ok - I figured it out.

Open Map

Hold curser over area you want the chpper to go to

hit spacebar to open menu

select 'communications'

select 'transport'

Short cut with number keys is 0 8 1. This may vary if you have other support options.

Never could find this in the manual. With your tips was able to figure it out.
