IronCadian7 10 Posted July 8, 2009 Ok so I had the menu problems with the demo, nothing fixed it, and then I said well Steam should update to the 1.14 version and work so I bought it, just to find out I still have the same problem but my other friend with vista doesnt. I cant figure out whats wrong. Specs: Vista 64 Geforce 9500gt 512mb 5gb RAM AMD Phenom X4 Can someone please give me a FIX for the STEAM ArmA Combat Operations? Herr_kalashnikov 10 Posted July 9, 2009 Ok had this problem and i think it has something todo with large mem configs on Vista. Their are several methods to solve it. Easiest is to get the 1.16 beta patch, it will work straight away but u cant join public mp servers. Physicaly or configure Vista to remove the RAM so u wont have more then 2g of it. Dont recall the switch for Vista but there are loads of threads here which describes howto. Add a "-window" parameter to the shortcut u start Arma with.
