Canel = lock up

I am new to the message boards. I came here in seek of help to a problem that has become somewhat annoying. I believe since 1.3 whenever I hit the last CANCEL or QUIT (can't remember in ofp) that is on the last screen before you leave a multiplayer game and go into the main menu, my computer would lock up.

This wasn't so much of a problem during 1.3 because it only happened 1/10 times. But, recentely I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled my OS and all my drivers, etc, etc. I installed OFP, then 1.3, then 1.46. Now the crash seems to happen every single time. I hit cancel and the HD LED flashes and the computer comes to a hault. Out of the 99 times I have thus far tried to exit, it has only not crashed 2 times.

On top of that... Another problem. I noticed this three days ago. Sometimes after two or three maps, we will go back to the first part of the server setup where we select what team we want to be in and will not be able to go into a spot. Although it says <UNASSIGNED> after dropping it on that it won't go in. I thought perhaps my connection went out but I will still hear people talking and see them chatting. I can hear them saying "COME ON HUNTER HURRY!!!" and the only way to fix it is by quiting the game which ultimately leads to my computer freezing again.

If anyone has had one of these two problems I would be very grateful to know how you came over this problem. Thank you very much.
