elite3444 10 Posted July 1, 2009 for some reason the game just randomly drops from a steady 20-25fps to 0. It happens in both singleplayer and multiplayer. i have updated drivers for my graphics card also, im pretty sure something like this happened to me in arma1 but when i disabled postprocess effects it worked. When i tried that in arma 2 it didnt change. Anyone know whats wrong?
Mavrocket 10 Posted July 1, 2009 It could be a host of problems... I'd do a combination of the following; 1) Scan for adware/spyware/viruses and eliminate them with extreme prejudice. 2) Run CCleaner (free download) to clean out your temp files 3) Turn off any anti-virus software or monitoring software of any kind and then try it again. If that doesn't work uninstall your video drivers, use Driver Sweeper (free download at Guru3d.com), reboot in safe mode and run CCleaner, reboot again and install your video drivers again and give it another shot. If that doesn't fix it I'd move onto making sure my sound drivers and any other drivers you may be using are up to date. Good luck
