Wadi 0 Posted March 11, 2002 I read somewhere that there is a type of script that makes the tail rotor of a chopper fail. How do you do that script? Also, how can I fix it so the occupants have time to get out and reach safety and then the chopper explodes? Any other info on the scripting waypoint (such as how the hell do I USE it!!!!! would be useful as well.
the man or iron 0 Posted March 11, 2002 Well you could add a line to your script (or whatever): Give the contents of the chopper name such as P1 and P2 Then add the lines: P1 setdammage 0 P2 setdammage 0 Or you could download the second tailrotor failure script from OFP Editingcenter

Wadi 0 Posted March 12, 2002 Problem I downloaded the tailrotorfailure script fromOPF Editing Center, but when I read the script and tried it out (only adapted for my chopper) it didn't work!
Wadi 0 Posted March 17, 2002 I tried ChopperName setfuel 0;pilotname setdammage 0 but then it shows the pilot (me) out of the burning chopper on the 'you are dead' screen! The pilot is still alive, he is standing by the chopper, only the game thinks I am dead!

Guest Posted March 18, 2002 Ya, I had that too, there is no way around the death scene. Once the helicopter has crahsed, the game presumes you're dead and shows the death screen. Too bad
