Removing group limit?

Is there any way to remove this stupid group limit thing in the editor? Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong section

You really need more than 144 groups?

No need to remove it (and not possible as far as i know), just spawn your units when you need them.

Well, if you're really using that many groups, try merging groups into larger ones, and definately avoid one-man groups. IMO (and most peoples') 144 is plenty considering group sizes are essentially unlimited.
