How do I add game logic to the AI? (I've looked for days)

I've searched the internet for days for this, always finding it mentioned but never explained. I heard that to get the most out of the AI, you need to add suppressing logic and the such to them... but I can't figure out how!

I've found how to place certain game logics and I know how to sync them but nothing I think is what I'm looking for (In fact I barley know what any of them do). Please, please tell me how I improve the AI in the editor and how I add these logics to them. I've searched everywhere for days, I can't find it. :(
