TheMantis 10 Posted June 28, 2009 I'm just wondering if anyone has seen a major benefit in this. Justifying the cost anyways. I just upgraded to a GTX 285 from a 8800 gtx and I only gained about 2 fps across the board UNLESS i had AA and postprocessing and fill rate 200% then it was more like 60% better. 10 fps (8800gtx) to 16 fps (gtx 285) avg with all vhigh fill rate 200% Anyways looking forward to hearing from a q9650 owner. Ben 0 Posted June 28, 2009 Q9650 runs very well, however I cannot run full filtration. I'm running a 1920 x 1200 and 200% filtrate only allows around 11 FPS with everything else on high. I am using this in Conjunction with DDR3 1600 & ATI 4850x2 2 Gig. Alot depends on your resolution.
TheMantis 10 Posted June 28, 2009 I was running at 1920 x 1200 for the test between 8800gtx and gtx
