goodgimp 10 Posted June 27, 2009 I'm running a nVidia GTX 295 with 2GB of video RAM. I can look at the arma2.cfg file and it has the 2gigs listed, however in the in-game video options I can only choose "Low" and "Normal" for Texture Detail and Video RAM. Am I missing something? (Oh, and I'm running Windows 7 x64 if that helps). Also, I find I have really "floaty" mouse movement. Is this normal? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
TheMantis 10 Posted June 27, 2009 (edited) Q6600 -- 8 GB DDR2 -- GTX 285 1GB (Newest Nvidia drivers) -- Vista 64 "old" 1.02 Arma 2 patch <-- I'm at work and will add new patch as soon as I get home. What happened for me was weird. I actually just upgraded from a 8800 GTX to GTX 285 and was running ARMA2 Mark to compare. I was able to change the settings to low, normal, high, very high whenever I wanted. Started playing the next day and now I can only choose low and normal for VRAM and texture detail Thanks for the help. Update: Installed "new" 1.02 patch. Same problem. Edited the .cfg files to force 1 gb VRAM and still have the same problem. Rebooted computer went to options no change, started playing again then when I died I went to the Vid options and now it will let me go to high and very high.
