Arma 2 Demo - Black Screen

I think I should be running this game ok with my setup:

Asus M3N72-D

AMD Phenom Black edition 9600 Quad core

8 gb Ram

GeForce 9800 GT

Vista Ultimate 64 bit

Latest display and direct x installed

But when I start the game I see the little ticks bar progressing, which then launches to a black screen. That's it, despite some hard drive activity - nothing - it just stays at black screen.

Any ideas guys? I thought I should be ok running this...have no probs with arma 1 or any other game for that matter. I was hoping to buy the full game in a day or two, but is it going to be the same?
