Aculaud 0 Posted March 9, 2002 well, in theory (and i emphisize 'In Theory' because i still havent been able to get accurate results out of the damned thing), you paint a target with it, and an A-10 LGB will pick up on it and drop a bomb on the target. You must have an A-10 LGB present on that mission with a wp on or near your target area for this to work. Just use a seek and destroy wp or something. The bombs are very powerful; one will easily take out 6 T-80s. Getting it to be accurate, as i said, is quite a neat trick. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Deus Ex 0 Posted March 9, 2002 ive only been able to get it right once, and accurate. First in mission editor, make 1 -2 a10's at an airfeild. make the black ops squad. make the leader posses the disignator make a way point for the a-10's to join the leader, (so that the are under the leaders command. make that a trigger for what area you want the a-10s to get in the air and join your black op. pull out the designator point it at a target, engage the laser, when the a-10s fly over they will fall under your command, they will tell you that they see a target "laser", tell them to attack that laser. then wala! Guest Posted March 10, 2002 There was this thing that I always said when Avon promoted her site...forgot it again though . Well, it's easier when you yourself are the A10 pilot. Make a map, first place a T-80 and a Black op with the target thingy nearby. Then make an A-10 about 1km away from the tank and make it point to its general direction, make the A-10 'flying' and 'player'. Then just start the mission. The Black op automatically targets the tank (because he thinks the Laser designator is an AT or LAW launcher) so her 'fires' it at the tank, and you'll be able to target the tank (use tab) and drop the bomb when you've locked the tank.
