walker 0 Posted June 17, 2009 (edited) Hi ssgwright In ArmA maps means islands (created with the modding tool, island editor called visitor and the like) When you say maps in ArmA what you are referring to is Missions created in the inbuilt ArmA mission editor. ;) ArmA is about combined operations and that is true even in short PvP C&H maps like Berzerk. Good pilots will spend hours just ferrying troops to the LZ and mix in a few CAS runs to support assaults in both jets and attack helicopters. At times they will drop you at the LZ then sit back with their door gunners providing overwatch from 300m plus behind your troops front lines. At others you may be going in to rescue a squad or some wounded but the best missions are those that combine all those factors naturally. There are a few pure attack helicopter coop maps where your trying to take out a convoy or blunt a tank attack. Same goes for Jets. As to pure air PvP there are some missions by Celery including his classic camel mission.
