To bis and ofp fans

Dear BIS and OFP fans,

I enjoy playing mission like Saboteurs etc but it seems to me that I have to be a Rambo, not a spec ops soldier. 1 against 100! (against all odds)

What i really need that a mission similar with Pathfinder and Ambush that are so realistic, achievable in the real military operation.

I hope you (BIS) make this kind of mission more in the next addons or expansion pack.

Pathfinder is a campaign mission in the 1985 campaign. It's the one where you have to get the two shilka's, wait for the gunships then clear the town.

Yes but it's a stupid mission.

It's alright, tho not my fav. It's tough, I mean you gotta do too much work. You start off with the M60, then you find out that all the AT guys are dead, so you have to loose the M60 to pick up a LAW or RPG + another rifle. I like the SP mission Commander

It's a dumbass mission. That's exactly why I haven't played it since July.

If you want my opinion, my favourite missions are the first few campaign ones and Ambush. I like these because they are both fun and (Ambush) is realalistic.

I prefer missions when I get to play a low rank and be told what to do.

BTW does anyone recommend any unofficial missions that are as good as ambush

I agree with Mike, I enjoy playing a mission with lowest rank.

BTW, I dont think there is unofficial mission that is similar and have the same quality as ambush. Most of good unofficial missions started with highest rank (commander).

But my favourite (based on reality) unofficial mission so far:

-Firelord by DVC (only for cinematics)

-Deadly Tide (by Shogun)

-Widows Ridge (by Ian Murrin)

-Prisoner Rescue (by Wisp)

-Hornest Nest (by Intruder)

-Training Day (in opflashpoint.org)

i sorta like commanding, ussualy everything comes out with a good outcome when i command lol.

what can i say this world just needs commanders as much as soldiers to follow the commanders commands

there r a lot of RAMBO missions in red hammer, they r passble because of the tweaking of the AI wich BIS has done after the 1.30 patch which turned the AI into 6 old babys who cant see above 100 M and stop for 5 sec before they start too shoot. in the older versions, they kicked ass now they r a bit hard sometimes but dumb most of the time.

this is one of my very favorite missions!
