c0nfUsi0n 10 Posted June 3, 2009 hey i just tried to install ofp resistance for the first time in a long time and i got a file read error. From my experience, those are pretty much impossible to come back from unless you find the file online or just buy another CD. I was wondering if it was possible for someone to host the file online somewhere and send it to me. The file is stored on the CD in FlashpointResistance\Res\Dta\Data.PBO The file is about 100MB in size. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could be able to do this for me
stgn 39 Posted June 3, 2009 Try manualy copying all the files on to you harddisk first and the instal on top. Try another disc drive. The program will not install a faulty installation so I don't see how uploading data.pbo to you is not gonna help. STGN
M@Nu-SoLo 0 Posted June 3, 2009 If your cd is a bit old, you can try to put some water and soap on it and let it dry. Sometimes it works, I yet succed to repair some cd and dvd by this way.

STGN well i tried a cd recovery thing and basically it put everything on the hard drive. I went to install from there and it gave me a file copy error saying the CRC does not match for this file. All i need to do is replace the faulty data.PBO with a good one and I should be fine
