thomas82 10 Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) quadcore q6600 (oc 4 x 3.2) 4 gb ram 8800 GT (1024mb) I really like the movement improvements.. this is a guarante for nice mp matches.. but with 30 fps the movement is still very clunky not agile.. when i set the fillrate to 50% and everything on low.. i get 120 fps on utes.. try it out and see how nice the moving/aiming is.. i hope that the performance will be much better with following patches.. aswell as crossfire support I dont say we need 120 fps.. from 60-70 fps its really smooth.. it definitely feels like ofp! After the Patch, the performance on my System improved noticeably. What i discovered is that, if i force VSync "On" for ArmA II in the Nvidia Driver, then the aiming is more precise, the Mouse Movement seems to be more "direct." Then, using a Logitech MX1000 Mouse, i disabled "Mouse Acceleration" in the Logitech Software and it improved even more. Without Mouse Accel. and with VSync On, the aiming feels much more direct. thomas82 10 Posted June 2, 2009 v-sync on in the nvidia-options doesnt help.. the movement is way too complex.. it should be more ctf/dm friendly. When u stop moving after sprinting sometimes your gun is back in position sometimes u have to press left-mousebutton to get the gun right.. and that takes too much time and makes ctf or dm not fun at all.. a better, more easy, faster control of arma2 would not effect the coop or c&h people.. it would just get the CTF-community back..
