LoneShark 10 Posted April 18, 2009 I have Arma: Queens Gambit v1.14 with A.C.E. v1.06 installed on Vista. After creating missions in the editor, I now have multiple instances of the same mission showing up in my mission list. I have removed all mission folders involving them in both locations; user\documents\arma other profiles, and program files\atari\arma. Doing a windows search does not show any more files related to the missions, but when I launch the game the missions still show up 2 or 3 times. Does anyone know what may cause this and how to remove them off the list again?
Mr_Tea 0 Posted April 18, 2009 Everything in program files\ is protected by the UAC, use another directory to install ArmA. That should help to solve or prevent some problems. The same goes to any other Game, don`t install them to c:\program files\, use any other drive or partition, but not that one Vista is installed on.
LoneShark 10 Posted April 18, 2009 Thanks for the quick reply. Talking about the UAC, I decided to disable it to see if it would let the files get deleted properly. It did work, now my missions list doesn't look so cluttered. Will be sure not to install any games in the program files folder any. Didn't know that the UAC would interfere with them before. Thank you again.
