25th ID Realism Unit

hey guys,

probably havent heard from us, maybe you played on our server but otherwise you wont really hear about us. we are a realism unit that wants to achieve 100% realism by creating custom missions, using real world tactics and first hand experience. we have several soldiers in our ranks including myself. our unit is a squad sized unit, we put quality over quantity and we want a small tight group of guys that can play together without doubting each other. we are a cool group of guys on and off the game, we try hang out and try to get to know each other so we grow into a small band of brothers.

when we go out to play we treat it as if it was the real world, we post op orders and go over the mission before we role out. we operate under SOP's and we implement a bit of role play to increase the realism factor, for example, in our missions you get 1 life, if you loose it you are out of the mission and you are no longer allowed to talk on ventrillo until the operation is over. sounds boring right? exactly, thats why we train and work together to keep each other alive, we rely on each other and again the band of brothers factor is on point again. also our missions are scenarios out of the real world again brought to the gamer from first hand experience. we dont have missions where the enemy has 20 tanks, 10 jets, 5 helos and 200 infantry, no our missions have realistic enemies i.e. a city full of civilians and insurgents that pop up on rooftops around corners, IED's and VBIED's, inside buildings and courtyards, crowded market places etc, just the things you find in the real world.

anyways, we dont just let anybody join the unit since we want motivated, dedicated and ACTIVE members that we can rely on. if you want to get involved, get to know some guys and stay active in a unit then you might wanna give this a shot, I PROMISE THE GAMING EXPERIENCE WE PROVIDE IS UNHEARD OF AND YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER UNIT LIKE THIS. i dont say this to lure you in from other units, i say this because all my guys have stated this at least once during their time in the unit and i think its worth putting out there.

we are currently looking for 2 new members, our available slots are regular infantryman or medic.
