topher 0 Posted March 5, 2002 Quick question about the map during gameplay. I have just started playing the game after a few months away and am now finding that when i look at the map i cant find markings of my position on the map, It used to be shown with the red circle and a line pointing to the direction i was facing but now i cant see it. Guest Posted March 5, 2002 OFP has two modes of play: cadet and veteran mode. In cadet mode you get that sort of GPS marker of where you are and your team mates. In veteran you dont get these. To navigate without it is much the same way you do it in real life. Read the briefing, find out your start position then use your compass, landmarks and the sun/stars to navigate.
