Angry Radish 0 Posted March 4, 2002 Can someone from BIS tell me if I need to reinstall flashpoint from scratch again to patch to 1.46? I realize others may patch over 1.45, but I remember problems coming out of that in previous patch releases... I see that the requirements for 1.46 is 1.30, so do I need to completely uninstall and reinstall the entire game just to patch it again? Also, it IS a bit of a pain in the ass to haul in my cd so I can patch the ded server, once for the patch, and once for the ded server. Is the new netcode in june going to be a true dedicated server, or is it still going to be essentially an entire OFP mini game without the cd check and UI? RN Malboeuf 12 Posted March 5, 2002 I updated my OFP at home and then just remote accessed the files to the server and rebooted, no CD required, sort of like the 1.40 patch I made a while back to help ppl with problems with CD installs but now the server is crashing 20 seconds into it's 1st game OFP has some major problems with remote desktop (terminal services) or VNC if used and then not rebooted I updated to 1.46 from 1.45 I wonder if it's the fact that 1.45 is allowed to join with 1.46 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
