Octavian 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Hi When looking at the main menu, selecting multiplayer arma freezes instantly. actually my whole computer freezes. the HDD stops making "working" sounds etc. I just performed a clean install, and patched it. have worked earlier. I can use editor and play SP without any problems. Running windows XP SP2 and the 505Games version of arma. and i turned of my firewall (comodo) just in case that was causing it.. I can move the mouse around, push the windows key, and presumably the startmenu is there because the cursor changes when standing on top of where it should have been. i can enter sleep mode and resume, arma will then be stated as "not responding" (ctrl+alt+del) How do i fix this? =) Regards Uppdate: I let it stand for about 15 mins or so, and now it says "recieving" instead.. the buttons are gone and such. SWAT_BigBear 0 Posted August 28, 2008 It sounds like the built in windows firewall is waiting for permission to access the internet with the game. Alt Tab (to minimize the game) after clicking Multiplay. There should be a windows firewall warning on your desktop.
