canis lupus 20 Posted January 4, 2008 I have looked through the different topics and all my problems have been discussed before and I found help to many problems but it never last long, one day I can run arma on very high in all settings, the next day I can't even get it to run with very low settings and in between there's all the usual performance issues, long texture load times I get that a lot, then there's the lagging when I use scopes and so on... all these things comes and goes completely random, I even tried starting to game on low settings, nothing worked as it should then just to get a screenshot I put the settings up to very high and everything ran as smooth as it gets... there shouldn't be anything that could affect these things elsewhere on my computer, I checked it and everything is the same, except arma... my specs are: windows XP Pentium® 4 CPU 3.06GHz GeForce 7600 LE 512Mb
BraTTy 0 Posted January 4, 2008 You can run Arma on very high? On all settings ? IMHO I don't see how that would be possible Ours computers are similiar PIV 3.0,1 gig ddr400,7600 gs 512m.WinXP Home Not sure what your problem is, possibly depends on what background programs you have running (could try -maxmem parameter), ambient temperature day-to-day? After I use FRAPS, after a few recordings my PC gets slower and slower, I have to reboot

canis lupus 20 Posted January 4, 2008 7500 sorry... it only happened once but yes I was acctually able to play with all settings on very high... the usually settings I use is on normal, no shadows and on the highest resolution, don't remember it right now... I used fraps to monitor the fps, but my arma really don't like fraps, slows it down a lot, but what I can see is that the fps changes all the time everyhing from 0-100 fps standard is arround 30 I belive
