Arma url protocol handler

Recommended Posts

Hi,

in order to click and run ArmA from swec server list do this:<ul>

[*] Create a file named "arma_url.reg" or anything else. Use .reg at the end of the filename

[*] Open the file for editing, for example with notepad

[*] Copy and paste there this text:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ArmA]

@="URL:ArmA Protocol"

"URL Protocol"=""

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ArmA\shell]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ArmA\shell\open]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ArmA\shell\open\command]

@="C:\\Windows\\system32\\cmd.exe /c for /F \"delims=:/ tokens=1,2,3\" %%a in (\"%1\") do \"C:\\Program Files\\Arma\\Arma.exe\" -connect=%%b -port=%%c -mod=DBE1"

[*] Check the paths to the files above are right for your installation and change them

[*] Check your mod and any other parameter you have in your working command line

[*] Save and close the file

[*] As Administrator, double click on the file and answer "Yes" to put these values in the Windows Registry

[*] With your browser, go to http://stats.swec.se/server/list , click a server of your choice, and click at the right of the "Address:" field

Arma should then start connecting the server you choose.
