Problems Running Linux Dedicated Server On Macbook

Hi everybody,

I want to run the OFP Linux dedicated server on my Macbook under MacOSX (which is based upon FreeBSD). I did as suggested by the HOWTOs but when I try to run the './server' executable, it complains:

"-bash: ./server: cannot execute binary file"

I granted all rights (chmod 777) to this file, did convert all files to lowercase ....

Does anyone has experience with running this kind of dedicated server on his/her Macbook? Or does this whole thing simply won't work on freebsd!?

Start the dedicated server with command: ./ofpserver start
