Lucky7 0 Posted November 11, 2007 Hi there. I have been playing ArmA relatively ok now for a while. I downloaded the QG last night and when I went to play it I had the star burst effect on the helicopters followed by ctd. After I rebooted I tried again and although it worked it was very slow with a massive drop in frame rates. I have just up dated to 163.75 drivers and now I get nothing at all. The last two boxes dont check when starting (I know the last one doesn't anyway). I have -maxmex256. Any thoughts would be brilliant. Cheers Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Madus_Maximus 0 Posted November 11, 2007 Try 512 instead of 256. Oh and I don't think the last two boxes ever check, at least they never have for me. If all else fails try a clean install (do ArmA then let QG patch it to 1.08) and see if that works. Oh, and you may want to check if you're forcing things like AA and AF through the drivers, make them app controled, that has been known to cause performance issues. Just set them in game instead.
