thy_raven 0 Posted October 31, 2007 Wondering if anyone can help me here, was just wondering if there was a way of getting arma to save progress in multiplayer games. would be amazingly useful for playing such things as evolution or something like CTI with freinds without having to do the whole thing all in one go. Was just wondering if it was possible? and if it is, how woulds someone go about saving such a mission? Any advice would be much apriciated, Many thanks Raven
Deadfast 43 Posted October 31, 2007 AFAIK not possible in ArmA. I think it's planned for ArmA 2, tho.
456820 0 Posted October 31, 2007 Well theres no 'real' way of saving in MP. But in OFP saving in MP was done but from what I know it was heavy scripting. Not 100% sure on the matter maybe would want to wait for someone who knows more in depth.
jasono 0 Posted October 31, 2007 Well, you can leave the server and come back and have a game never end (as long as there is AI that exists). The thing is you can't pause it, so you would need to password the server. Put this in the server.cfg persistent=1; Enables or disables the persistent battlefield. Default 0. Nutty_101 0 Posted October 31, 2007 Saving is possible. Look around the forums for data. Nothing out of the box though. Sorry.
