dayglow 2 Posted December 13, 2001 I'm trying to patch 1.2 to 1.3 and I have all the bad stuff on my computer, via chipset, soundblaster live, etc. Anyways When I first tried to install the patch it told me that the dta\hwtl\data.pbo was corrupt and the patch didn't work. So I copied over the file from the cd to see if that would fix it. Now when I run the patch program ALL the big files are bad addons, campaigne files, the data.pba, etc. So how come the patch itself causes so much problems? Maybe BIS could release a full patch program, that doesn't do the incremental patching, but writes over everything. I know it would be a huge download, but it would give hope to everyone having problems. This is really frustratiing because this is the only program that does has problems. Everything else I've ever loaded doesn't become corrupt. Why has this reared it's ugly head only in OperationFlashpoint? Also are the people having these problems only on XP? maybe driver support isn't where it is needed yet for this operating system. TIA COLINMAN Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
