* mouse freeze *

Hi all,

Im experiencing quite possibly the most annoying thing I have ever encountered. Mouse Freeze.

Everytime I launch OFP, I get to play for a short period of time, like 5-10 minutes, when all of a sudden my mouse freezes up and I have no way of controlling the character without using the keyboard.

This problem has only occured within the last 5 days and appeared 'out of nowhere' and for no reason I can think of. On top of this, I have only experienced the mouse freezing in OFP and no other game.

I would really appreciate any help you guys could offer as quite simply the game is unplayable for me at the moment.

My specs:

Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce2 mx 32meg

Motherboard: Asus A7V266-E

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1600+

OS:  Windows XP

Mouse: Microsoft USB Intellieye Explorer

For starters, search The FAQ for "input lag".

Also search The FAQ for "directx tweak" and install it.

I tried your fix but unfortunately this problem persists.

There really doesnt seem to be any reason for this happening, it just kinda appeared from nowhere. Its happened to me at desktop now aswell..

I have a feeling it might be a USB/XP problem, but then surely it would have happened earlier.

Anyone else having this problem?

what mouse you got seriel mouse or usb try updating your mouse driver

if this does not help go into control panal gaming devices and uncheck poll interrupts
