P4 3Gig ( 800 FSB )

2 Gig of Ram ( Kinston )

256mb Gforce 8400 ( new to this cpu for Arma)

250Gig 7200RPM SATA WD hard drive ( 75% empty )

Creative Labs Sound Card

Windows XP SP2 ( also tried on Vista )

You would think that would be enough  goodnight.gif

Thats why I said you should put it on the shelf.

And if you really are reluctant to do so I suggest going through these forums to try and find all those topics where people have been talking about optimizing the game for your system.

But if you dont want to go to all the trouble just shelf it and wait for OFP2 and save some money to get a new system for it.

Nope. Sounds like a budget card.

My PC is lower spec than yours, but runs ArmA alright.

What? That rig sucks, the 8400 is a horribly slow budget card, even my x1600XT beats the crap out of it.
