Stupid question

This is probably stupid to ask, but I just got the game and am trying to do the first training mission, but something seems to be wrong.  I get past the part where you board the deuce and drive to the obstacle course.  I'm instructed to go down the lane and return, but when I negotiate the obstacles and get to the end of the lane I cannot trigger the endpoint to return back down.  I went through the corral, through the ramps and windows, low-crawled under the wire, but I can't hit the target spot at the end.  If I stop and go real slow it registers 0 meters to the target spot, but the target doesn't switch to the return point near the squad.  I know this probably sounds dumb, but am I missing something in the instructions or what?

just go between the two "thingies" at the end of the crawl wire thing, as in just continue in the same direction you were going with the whole course.

not once but twice i've been demonstrating the first training mission to my friends and FAILED it (timeout) .. :)

Well, I tried that repeatedly, even restarted the mission. Nothing seemed to click. I'll try it again as long as you say there is no *trick* to it.

What I'm looking for is something constructive here. Is the course timed? Is it precision of movement? Is there a way to just blow it off and move on?

You have to go slower. Wait until you hear the sound and see the hint in the upper left corner before progressing to the next section.

the Waypoint should be satisfied, and your CO should tell(radio) you to get your a$$ back to starting point....should be a no problem. go straight when you finish the crawling thingy, and when CO radios you turn right and around the pyramid thingy
