It was recommended by a member of my clan that i start this as he thinks that its good and some of the guys here will like it. <span style='font-size:27pt;line-height:100%'>RUSSIAN FORCES REMOVE MERCENARY PRESENCE</span> Combat on the Azerbaijan-Russian Border. Corporal Toje stands over his squads amazing work 25/07/2007 - Mercenaries under the direction of Azerbaijan forces today crossed the Russian border to secure a town suspected of protecting insurgents. Azerbaijan military warned Russian Forces off intervening. Approximately 40 Mercenaries Entered the town forcing all civilians to leave, those who resisted where killed. 2 Hours after the Mercenaries Secured the town Russian VDV rapidly responded Under the Command of Corporal Toje. "We scrounged Up everything we could, but in the end all we could get to assist was an old T-72M, but my men and and the crew of the tank showed uncanny bravery today as they removed these Soldiers of Fortune." -Corporal Toje "I'm Sure this sends a clear message to the Azerbaijan's and all of their Mercenaries that Russia will not take being toyed with, and they cant hide behind their Mercenaries" Reportedly 35 of the Mercenaries where killed during the firefight with 2 VDV soldiers reporting wounding. Local forces are preparing for a retaliation attack preparing their Tanks and Cleaning their weapons, while Russian Marines are being sent down to the field of battle under the command of Captain Baikie. Toje 0 Posted July 27, 2007 <span style='font-size:27pt;line-height:100%'>Russian Su-34 Attack Aircraft Start Sorties Over Azerbaijan</span> Russian Jets waiting for the command to start operations over Azerbaijan 26/07/2007 - Yesterday we where shocked to hear about the Attack by Mercenaries Hired by the Azerbaijan Government to take a small Russian town, and the heroic efforts of the VDV to retake that town. Soon after that incident Azerbaijan forces mobilized near the Russian Border. "This is unnecessary, provocation!" -Local Russian Government Offical But today Russia has responded in kind by launching attacks over Azerbaijan attacking Mercenary facility's and Azerbaijan Military Units close to the Russian border. The Russians are demanding all Azerbaijan forces move back from the border zone and remove them selfs from Russian islands in the Caspian Sea. The Azerbaijan Government have made no comment about the issue as communications have been difficult to the Azerbaijan Government. Toje 0 Posted July 27, 2007 <span style='font-size:27pt;line-height:100%'>T-72 Convoy Attacked While Entering Azerbaijan</span> A T-72 convoy attacked by a civilian car, the driver did not survive. 27/07/2007 - This morning the Russian government authorized entry of russian Marines and Tank Platoons into Azerbaijan, once this was announced Russian units pulled away from the border and Su-34 Patrols took over protection of the border as T-72 and T-80 platoons moved into position to move into the regions of Azerbaijan that held Mercenary forces. Soon after the withdraw the tanks started to move to the border when an unexpected car hurled up the road as extremely high speeds and rammed a T-72 and exploded into flames, The T-72 took the blow and now needs minor repairs. "I didn't know what hit us, then i saw the ball of flame in front of the lead tank, and then knew that we where hit by a car packed with explosives." - Capitan Siggy (Unknown) In connection to this attack the T-72 Platoon ran out of stockpiles of marshmallows and sausages. Other tank platoons have now moved into Azerbaijan and are taking up positions to destroy Mercenary positions, and secure the Qabala Radar Station. Toje 0 Posted July 27, 2007 <span style='font-size:27pt;line-height:100%'>All Communications Cut in Azerbaijan for the last week.</span> 28/07/2007 - Approximately 4 Days Ago before attacks on Russian Soil contact was lost to the Azerbaijan Government. Russian Government officials Assumed at first there was communication problems but after they recent attacks they are uncertain of the current status of the Azerbaijan Government and its plans. Russian Militery forces currently entering Azerbaijan are not reporting major resistance or loses. Concerns are also held for russian people inside Azerbaijan and that they may be attacked by the Azerbaijan Militery. More updates on the issue as we get them. Toje 0 Posted August 1, 2007 <span style='font-size:27pt;line-height:100%'>Russian Forces Take Northern Towns</span> Russian forces take towns and Militery Positions Under Pressure from Turkey and United States Government, Russian forces have stopped their advance 40km south of the Russian border. Russian tanks and Marines supported by VDV, where sweeping across northern Azerbaijan successfully removing mercenary and Militery positions. Civilians are not pleased, and some have openly attacked Russian forces, only to be meet with Russian armor platoons. Turkey has moved forces into West Azerbaijan and have been meet with resistance, and forces and have become bogged down, and now cannot advance. Greece is pressuring Turkish forces to to leave Azerbaijan or face military intervention. Armenia has massed forces on the western Azerbaijan boarder and are mobilizing on the eastern border, Russian officials are in negation with Armenia about possible peace keeping operations in Azerbaijan and temporary Governing of Azerbaijan if the government is no longer in a functional capacity. Greece has also offered military support to Armenia if attacked by Turkey. Meanwhile Iran has closed it northern border to all traffic. The Russian Militery has not been able to contact any Azerbaijan military units or government personal. The Russian Militery has captured a few Azerbaijan Soldiers but have not gathered any useful information about the current situation.
