SOLVED: Game doesn't start (8 checkboxes)

This is for ATI users, don't know if nvidia is also affected.

Symptom:

You start arma.exe , the eight checkboxes are checked 2 remains, game doesn't start (if your desktop is visible you can see the icons on it been redrawn).

Game never starts, you check task manager and arma.exe sits there doing nothing.

Solution:

I found this after a long weekend of troubleshooting , there seems to be that arma doesn't like multiple displays, ie (you have a tv connected as secondary monitor), disable Extended Desktop and put your display card in Single Display mode.

I only have a TV as secondary display (used to watch movies) so i don't know if it will affect users with secondary monitors.
