Noob Questions

A few things I'm having trouble understanding:

1)  In the main campaign, when I view the mission briefing (map, notes, etc.) is there a way to select which weapons I would like to take with instead of the default ones?

2)  I'm playing on a notebook with no NUM Keypad.  I have looked and looked in the 'control' options and cannot find the '3rd' person view option to map to any key I want.  Any ideas which option is the '1st/3rd' person toggle?

3) In OFP, I was able to select a member of my team and order him to 'drop' his weapon/equipment. So far I am unable to do this in arma.

1. i think u cant select ohter weapons in the Camp

2. there must be a button somewhere if not someone else beat me too i go in game now

tatical view is 2xspace and 3rd view must be ENTER NUM but u said u dont have any so i think u must remap those

3rd person view falls under ''Toggle View''

3. u can select a unit by the F1 F2 F3....ect. then Action and it give the command Gear select it and u can select the gear of the unit but there must be a supply create weapons or ammo

3. should also be able to select the units under Map->Group->names

on that note... Want To Buy back the OFP arrows back/forward on the unit selection menu thingy ok thanks
