cd  key

Recommended Posts

I bought and downloaded this game yesterday. When I try to install it it asks for the cd key which I have read is the purchase ref no. in the email I got.

But everytime I use the key it says its incorrect or not valid.

It could well be a case that I am an absolute muppet but what am I doing wrong? I enter it exactly as it is in the email but it isnt even enough digits

I've emailed ideagames but got a reply saying any help would take up to 2 working days (and I'm guessing they dont work weekends) so was wondering if anyone could help sooner so I can actually play this weekend

the serial number is not the purchase reference number. you use the purchase reference number when activating arma when you first start it up after an install or patching. the serial number you use in installing should be in the email: Confirmation - Purchase of ArmA: Armed Assault. at least it was for me.

"When you run the setup, you will be prompted to enter your ArmA serial number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
