cybermask 0 Posted May 23, 2007 Hi, Wondering if anyone has any ideas with a problem i am having? The "ArmaENG.exe" causes my system to crash when i double click the EXE file, Windows Explorer freezes up first then the whole XP system freezes up, as a result, i have to power down using the power button. I have run a checksum and the numbers match, the people at ArmA have sent me here, cause they don't have a clue about my problem. I have updated all drivers that need to be updated. My system is: > > XP home (SP 2) (Updated) > Nvidia 7600 GS 256MB (Updated) > Microstar MS 6579 (Motherboard) > 1Gig RAM > DirectX 9.c Confused Tommy Further Computer Info: Part number N1996 Micro ATX form factor Socket 478 architecture Supports Intel Pentium 4 processors up to 2.53 GHz 400 or 533 MHz front side bus Intel 845E chipset Northbridge: Intel 845E Memory Controller Hub Southbridge: Intel ICH4 Integrated AC97 audio interface Integrated 10/100 BaseT ethernet controller USB 2.0 controller supports 6 USB ports Dual ATA-100 disk drive controllers support UDMA 100/66/33 Chipset supports up to 6 bus mastering PCI channels Memory 2 DDR-DIMM slots for PC 1600 or PC 2100 DDR-DIMMS Maximum module size is 512 MB Maximum total memory is 1.0 GB Supports ECC and non-ECC DIMMS 2 IDE connectors Supports 2 IDE devices on each connector.
