BloodyBuddy 0 Posted May 11, 2007 Alright, so I had Windows XP way back when and ArmA was working fine. I recently upgraded to Windows Vista, and thought about buying ArmA, I noticed a new demo was out so I thought I'd try it first. The download when't fine (Downloaded from FileFront) when I tryed to install it, it asked for premission, all of the normal stuff. After afew minutes a error boxed popped up with the following message. <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the event log for more detail. Don't know where the "event log" is, I then tryed to run it in compatibility mode and got the same problem. Does this not work with Vista, or did I screw something up? >_> Specs: Radeon X1600 1.7GB RAM Windows Vista 64 AMD Athlon 64+ Processeor 3500+ ..and that's all I know really. >_> Any help is greatly appreciated.
